What's the strategy for booking a breakfast character meal? Do you need to book before park opening to make the best use of time? I'm torn since I'd really like to to do Ohana but I don't want to lose a lot of time as well since I'm only at MK for two days.

If you think you might want to take a break from the parks, you could book one of the last seating times for a 'Ohana. Then you could do MK rope drop and leave about 30-45 minutes before your reservation and take the monorail to Poly. After your meal, you could take the boat back to MK. If you do this, I would plan all FP+ for MK in the late afternoon. This way, you do not have to worry about also stopping to eat lunch.

If you want to maximize your time in MK and also do the O'hana breakfast, I would schedule a 7:30 am breakfast. Ask for the check when you sit down to eat and try to be out by 8:30 am (which really shouldn't be hard as the meal is served family style). If this is on an MK 9:00 RD day, you should be good to go!

Thanks so much! You guys are such a big help. Right now, everything is booked for Ohana at 7:30. I have a 8:35 for the first day and a 9:40 for the second day. So, not really good times, so I'm trying to work around it and decide which is best. And, I will keep checking the schedule. I could try for dinner at Crystal palace for Sat. or 1900 Fare for Sunday night dinner so that we get a character meal in. My son is 6 and while his sister might enjoy the characters at 1900 fare, his sister will not.

Didn't I just answer your question on a different thread - I am confused?
I would not eat a breakfast at either of those time if you want to get a lot done in MK.
Either a late 'OHana breakfast, or an after park dinner ADR is what I advise.

I would not count on that at all. The 1900 Park Fare dinner is considered a lot of fun even by boys.

The stepsisters and Lady Tremaine are mad fun.

1900 PF is fun for the whole family! My 8 year old son had as much fun (if not more) than my 5 year old daughter.

Can you do do Ohana breakfast on your checkout day...?

We just ate here today for breakfast. We were at MK for rope drop until 11:15 (got lots done), then took monorail to 'Ohana for an 11:45am ADR breakfast (more like breakfast for lunch). The characters spent lots of time with us as it was not busy. Food was still hot and plentiful, and service was very good (and the juice was awesome, as usual). Taking a break now, then going to us FP tonight at MK.
