Strategies for ADRs when park hours are not posted yet?

I am still about a month out from our 180 days for our trip this summer. It has been two years since our last trip. During that time the tentative park hours were released by Disney for the entire month. That always gave me a few days to plan which parks we would be in when during our entire stay before the 180 day window opened for our reservations.

With Disney moving to releasing park hours day-by-day 180 days out, how does everyone plan their ADRs?

We aren't look to make many reservations so I'm not too concerned. I guess I could just make multiple reservations for the same restaurant over a few days at the time we want and then cancel the ones that don't work for our touring plans?

We are hoping for a trip to CRT since my daughter is now the perfect age to enjoy the princesses and being in the castle!

I tried to book everything for multiple days - the system will not let you overlap times so keep that in mind. If you have a BOG for 6pm at MK that day, you cannot book something at Epcot for the same time (however you can book 7:30pm for the same day). I wish they would move this window in closer myself so that the park hours would be at least closer to final.

Thanks for sharing. I think I am going to do the same thing. Our family really enjoys Tusker House for breakfast and I like getting an ADR an hour before the park opens so we are already in the back for Kilimanjaro Safari and Everest. I'll probably try to book two or three days for that just to cover our bases.

We are planning on cutting back on the number of table service meals this trip too. We did the dining plan last time and one a day with snacks just ended up being too much food. Plus it took away from some prime park time.
