oh my... wonder if it was the same mother I had! LOL
OMG... we also had a crazy mom leave her 3 kids with us at Fantasmic! She did come back, but everyone in our section was just amazed!

All of these stories are hilarious.I have so many stories I dont know where to start.
I was in AK with my husband and 8yo daughter. We were ready to have lunch and decided to eat at Flame Tree BBQ. My husband went to find a table with my daughter. I went to the very long line. While reading the menu the line in front of me move a little (maybe half a feet) when suddenly I hear the men behind me tell his wife in Spanish "OMG! This b***h dont know if she is coming or going". Well I was surprise but I reacted super fast. I turned around and told him in a very clear Spanish "This b***h know 5 different language, know that she is going not coming and will ask you to call me by my first name, thanks". The man's wife was pale and the man's face was priceless. The move to another line. I was laughing. When I took the food to my husband I notice the man and his family was sitting at the table next to us. As soon as he saw me they moved far away. For me it was very funny.
Oh my... these are so funny. Im over here
On my last trip to Disney, this past December, it was also my first time taking my then 4-year old daughter. We had a blast. Well, we were being seated for the Test Track, as you know there are three seats in a row. So this cute little boy's Mother (looked just like the son from "Jerry MacGuire" - glasses and all) asked me if I minded if her son rode in the row with us. I said "of course not" and he, for whatever reason wanted to sit next to me, and my daughter was ok with sitting on the end. So we rode the ride and throughout I tried to make him feel as comfortable as possible (he seemed a little scared). So at the end of the ride, my dd and I get off and leave the area and stop to get a snack. Then we went off to check our Mission:space. About 10 minutes later, all I hear is "Can we stop at the bathroom? I have to go" I turned around and who was walking with us? apparently the ENTIRE TIME that we left the ride!!OMG I was so scared that his mother thought we kidnapped the poor child. He said he really had to go, but I asked if he could please hold it because I had to find his mom. To which he replies, "no, she's ok. we can just meet her back the room."
I was mortified.
I took him to the bathroom and then we went back to Test Track hoping she was there waiting for us and she wasn't.... this kid was so happy that he was with us and my DD was ecstatic at the thought that she had a new "brother." Oh hell naw...
I went to the nearest CM, panicking, and explained what happened. We went to a nearby snack counter and I got him some food and stuff while he talked my ear off about how cool the kids at school will think he is that he has a black mom now... LOL.
We waited there for about an hour, while the CM did her little secret service thing over the radio and finally the mother happened to find her way there. Definitely my strangest interaction...
During our first disney trip (August 2001) my son and I were waiting for Spectromagic to begin. The lady next to us started talking to me about our trip. All was going well until she found out we were staying on site.
For the next 15 minutes this nut case kept saying "YOU'RE staying ON SITE??!!!" "WE can't afford that". She would elbow her husband and say (I mean yell) "THEY ARE STAYING ON SITE!!! You said it cost to much for us to stay on site"
As if that wasn't bad enough the loony tune asked me if I was sure I was staying at a disney resort. She even asked me where my husband was. Silly me told her I wasn't married. That set her off again.
She started elbowing her husband and yelling "She's a single mom and staying on site. We're married with no kids and can't afford to stay at disney."
Her poor husband kept trying to change the subject, but goof ball would not let it go. I'm sure if a hole had opened up in the middle of Main Street, he would have jumped into it. Or maybe pushed the crazy lady in.![]()
The funny thing is, most likely she paid more for her off site room, than I did for my on site room.
I booked with a pin that was posted here on the DIS. We were staying at All Star Sports for only $49.00 a night.![]()

Was on the Safari in AK on a rather chilly December day and the mom in the family behind me kept swearing the the Nile Crocs were autoanimatronic. Told her they were real and she just would not believe that they were the real thing.

That is GREAT! We saw a Santa look alike at our Target... the kids just happened to be all fresh and when they saw him the kind of froze, my middle son says I don't believ it is HIM> we head out the door and I kid you not there is this white cadillac type car with a custom plate that says SANTA-1!!!
During our first visit to AK and therefore our first ride on EE, dh and dd were in in a seat together and I was seated with a "stray" little girl (about 7). The minute I said hello to her, she started yapping away at me like talking might go out of style tomorrow. She told me she'd been on EE "at least 20 times!" -- always by herself because, "My parents don't like rides." She asked me if I was scared. I told her that roller coasters aren't really my thing, so I was a little nervous. She then told me that, "In my opinion, if you know what's going to happen, it won't be that scary. So I'll tell you everything as it's happening." Which she did. When we got to the Yeti, she reached out and took my hand and told me, quite seriously, "Don't worry. It's fake." When we got done, I thanked her for her "assistance" and told her that I'd enjoyed her company. She told me, "I had a great time with you too! I wish my mom would go on rides with me." I told her that if she saw us around the parks, to feel free to come up to us and she could be our "fourth" rider on any ride. What a charming girl and I felt so bad for her that she rides all of the rides by herself.
What is wrong with some parents? I bet they wouldn't leave their wallets alone like they do their own children.
...
Well, by the end of the ride this poor woman was so exasperated with me she left muttering, "They're called VULTURES, not buzzards, you ignorant yank."![]()

One of our funniest things happened during early morning entry for an ADR at Crystal Palace. We are early risers so we ended up being first at the turnstiles. Eventually another family of four with two little ones came and stood behind us. As we got through the turnstiles the family of four started walking really fast to get ahead of us, heading towards the castle. They must have had a breakfast ADR at Cindy's table and wanted to be first to get there, ahead of us (which we weren't even going to). My older DS who was thirteen at the time turns to us and says I can walk faster than them (he's 6 feet tall and has very long legs) so he starts walking with fast strides next to them...the faster he walked, the faster they walked until they were jogging and dragging their little ones along. It was pretty funny to watch. My DS never looked at them, just looked straight ahead towards the castle and walked faster and faster...Eventually my son stopped turned around and we headed to the Crystal Palace...it's funny how some people HAVE to be first, even if it means dragging their kids along the pavement to do so!
