Strangest Halloween Treat

My kids got a couple of strange treats in their trick or treat bag. One lady gave them plastic silver coins- 3 each. Another lady gave small resin statues wrapped in a trick or treat bag. My DD got a lady with a teddy bear but my DS got one of a graduate. My DH says she gives those away every year- he thought she made them until I pointed out the Made in China sticker on the bottom.LOL
The best surprise was they made $8. Some people actually gave out $1 bills. I sat out trick or treating this year cause my oldest DS is in a cast. They had fun and got lots of candy too!

My DS and nephew got onions! One guy was asking the kids, do you want an apple or something else, of course the kids want something else...he gave them a onion and a handful of candy!! My brother and DH said the guy was pretty slick and the kids didn't really notice the candy going in the bag, just the onions. I thought it was pretty clever!

Oh, I had those as a choice, but I didn't put them in anyone's bag. I always let TOTers pick two things and we only had three puzzles left so they were a hit for some. I got them at Target 75% off last year, so I think I paid a buck something for 12 puzzles. I figured it was a cute alternative to even more candy. I had those as an option, mini bags of pretzels, and of course candy.
