Strangest family names?

I had a cousin whose name looked normal, Yvonne. But it wasn't pronounced the way you might think, they pronounced it Yavonnay. I always thought that was very amusing

The strangest that comes to mind is Grandmother's - Darthulah.

Oh and Grandaddy's middle name is Hosmer. It's his mother's maiden name.

Lets see my grandmother is Lotty Lucille.....I have a cousin named Walldean (I have no idea how you spell it but its pronounced Wall-Dean.

Colin was my grandaddy, Rosa Lea was my other grandmother and Oscar was my other grandaddy....I can't think of any other weird names.....not a Billy Bob or Billy Ray or Bobby Joe one in my family and you would think being from the South there should be a few good ones but no such luck.

I'm embarrassed to even mention this...

My cousin named her son Random Alibi Water. Yes that is the poor kid's legal first, middle, and last name. I wonder if she regrets this yet?

My uncle's middle name is Arlington, which is his mother's maiden name. His son (my cousin) is Richard Arlington Russell Jr. My other cousin is Rachel Alannah Russell, so that they all have the initials of RAR. My aunt (my mom's sister) is the only one in the family without those initials. She is Ethel Sharkey Russell - she dropped her middle name when she married my uncle and made her maiden name her middle name. Interesting family!

is Dart....its actually his Middle name....Mine is Penelope....I go by Faith, my first name, but growing up, I was Pennie. My Mom's name was Edythe, and she had a friend named Thekla! My DH has an Uncle named Warden and one named Marvin....there is also a cousin named Harmon.

My great grandfather was William S. Williams. And his son (my grandfather) was named D.O. That was not his initials but his name on his birth certificate.
D.O. Williams. (The D.O. didn't stand for anything.)

Not really funny names but collectively funny:
My dad was Bob and my mother was Bobbie (and both had the middle name of Lee). My sister, Barbara married Kenneth and so they are Barbie and Ken.

There is a Zelda a few generations back on my mom's side. My ex's last name was Asseff. My grandmother's sister name was Oleta. Not all that strange but, I named my daughter Ryan.

I have a great uncle named A.Z. , the intials do not stand for anything but A.Z.. Unfortunately I never got to meet him, he was killed in WWII.

My Mom and her three sisters have the glorious names of: Eula Mae, Wynelle, Nila Jean, and Ellene. Texans, can you tell? My parents thought they were naming my brother Noble after our step-grandfather. Turns out his name was Nobie. The really funny thing is Nobles' wife is Diana. And she has a sister that also married a guy name Noble. Diana

we have a Dorcas...Dorcas Sweet actually.

There are 2 Minnie May's, an Ebenezer, Jeremiah, Rufus, Hebejah , Permela, Lucinda, Angelina, Ransom, Roxie, Clinton, Emerson, Harrison, and Mamie. On the Swiss side there are a couple Georg's, Johann's, and Gottfried's. there's also a Franzlska, Verena, and a Magdelena.
