Strange which threads just "take off"....

Do you ever make a thread where you hope that maybe you'll get 2 or 3 responses? Next thing you know it has somehow transformed into a 5 page thread?

I almost never start threads, and when I do they hardly ever get a lot of posts, but when John Ritter died, it hadn't been posted yet, so I did, it ended up with many pages and then had to be locked because there were people bashing him, and getting nasty, then others yelling in return, I mean a dead man, come on.

I'm a TV only engineer.

Right ! Well , I started out in Radio ( working at AM Transmitters ) and eventually got into TV (studios and transmitters ) as well .
I still prefer radio over TV ..... and of course 'wireless pc's' are introducing a whole new era of radio ( wireless ) .

I remember that, I was one of the people yelling in return. The person who did the bashing was/is notorious for stirring the pot over the most ridiculous issues, and I couldn't resist telling her about herself.
