Strange... Still Recieving the CL Questions! C'mon Skigrl!

Today my little sister recieved the CL questions even though she has been banned for 24 hours... and I thought they were not accepting anymore. Well we contacted them I think a day before they stopped... Going to help her with these and hopefully one family member will be a CL. My chances are gone anyway

Maybe there's a sticky explaining this, and point me to it if there is, but what's the benefit of being a CL? Is it just for the prestige of having a title infront of your name? I help people ALL the time, especially ones who don't seem to have a clue about how to shop or get free credits from dungeon or matterhorn and such (I know there's a shorter way to say those credits). If peopl would spend 15 minutes reading the directions when signing up it answers a lot, as well as directions before playing the mini games so I don't have to turn pink to explain to them how to suck up the pink ghosts by hiting shift or control key and stay away from green! But I don't mind it usually if they catch on and can clear out enough so I can get to my own ghosts. I'm sure in our "directions/players guide" there may be something about CL, but I'm looking for more personal experience, good/bad/ugly(latter not likely). Is it something that I would want to pursue? Is there any personal benefit if my actions really don't change, I don't think, one never knows until in the situation I suppose. Or does it add more pressure and time committment?

lax, I wish I had this problem! I've applied so many times in the past few weeks, and I've heard absolutely nothing. Not a peep. No, I don't have AOL, yes mailbox@virtualmagickingdom.com is in my approved mail, and no my spam filter does not delete any spam, it just puts it into a spam folder.

I've given up on being a CL, now or ever. It's obvious to me they don't want me. I wish your sister the best of luck in her endeavor.

It's nice that your sister got the questions to be reviewed, but it's not riught for you to say things like what you did. You should not do things and say things to have a CL_ in the family. It is kind of selfish and is not why you should want to be a CL_. Also if she got the questions they are for her to answer not anybody else. Like for me I sent mine in and checked things and then had somebody read over them to check. They did not add or edit my answer they just "reviewed" them as you can say. Please please.. want to be a leader or have one in your family for the right reasons. Its not for the glory of being one it's for you being there to help.

Krazyluke I agree with you but at the same time I do not. What you say about answering the questions for her is wrong. When you said that it was wrong for me to say "it will be nice to have a CL_ in the family". You misunderstood me. My sister has always looked up to me and when she saw that I recieved the questions she thought "Hey why shouldn't I be able to do that". All I'm saying is that it would be nice for her if I was the one looking up to her for a change.

Before this thread gets too cheesy, (but hey penny likes cheese) doesn't it say you could have never gotten banned? I would like to know so I could being writing an application letter to send in when they are accepting.

I'm wondering the same thing. I asked my sister if she wanted to when she sent in her app if she could tell them she has been banned. But shuldn't they already know?

You would think so but maybe not. My question is when did you send in an application, I mean your sister? I almost forgot, I was reading that they will let you be a community leader, if your ban was not for a too bad of a thing. It just depends why she got banned. Anyways my friend got banned for 24 hours and is now a CL

You can have a ban and still be a leader. There are several leaders that have been banned before they became a leader. If it was for something minor and only resulted in a short ban then you can still be a leader. If you show maturity and that you have learned from your mistake, then you still have a chance. They are only accepting so many leaders, so if they have 2 equal people to fill 1 open spot, but 1 has been banned and the other has not - I am guessing they would pick the player that has not been banned. Once you have been accepted as a leader, if you get banned, you will lose your title and badge because you are supposed to be setting a good example for others.
