Does anybody else have the compulsion to yell out "Puddy" when Patrick Warburton starts to give the safety announcement? I know I shouldn't, but I can't seem to help myself...

I've thought about it :lmao: but I usually just say "nice work pal" when he does during the intro ... he also does the voice of the star tours droid too.

I think he seems to be the most hired VoiceOver man in entertainment

does a large number of ads, cartoons and is in skylanders

Nope, but we do say "I'm Kronk, my name is Kronk" while he's talking :)

ummm, who (or what) is puddy and why would I think that when I saw Patric? :confused3

Oh yeah...

and for some reason we get a hankering for some Arby's . . . ;)

LOL, my husband almost always leans over to me and says "It feels like an Arby's night."

I'm pretty sure we actually did the first time we rode!:rotfl2:

Also, do you think it was intentional that they had a "George" look-a-like who is wearing the Mickey ears?

I don't know who Puddy is either. But I'm with Pixiewings. We ALWAYS say "There's Kronk!" and then I get a strange urge to watch The Emperor's New Groove. :rotfl: Then, I wonder how old the "smaller aviator" must be by now.

That part/character (whatever you wish to call it) is so prefect for him. Whoever did the casting did a fabulous job, i have always find him handsome he has a great voice :goodvibes

I hadn't seen this thread, but rode Soarin' for the 1st time today and actually did yell "Puddy!" :confused3

A few years ago my wife and I were on Soaring, and some guy in front of us told the entire room,"That's the guy who does the voice of Troy McClure on the Simpsons." To which me, along with like 6 other guys in line said,"No, that's Puddy!" It was very funny because we all said it at the same time.

Awww. Now I'll be thinking of that, too!

Oh gracious. But I can see it; Phil Hartman had the same sort of tone as PW. (poor Phil)

I don't first think of Seinfeld. I do, however (and mysteriously, since I wasn't a fan), think of The Tick.

And nowadays I think of his character on the show with David Spade. (that whole show is populated with actors whose names I barely know, and say "the lady who was the mom on that show with the Irish-named guy that we liked", and "Kate Hudson's brother", etc...I tell you, no one will realize I've gone into dementia until YEARS after the fact...)

Terms of Engagement right? We don't watch it so I can't really remember. LOL

We love "Emperor's New Groove" and I've been wondering if Disney has anything inspired by this?

My brother and I had our backs slightly turned, heard the voice and both said Puddy. My son said Skylanders. Then we discussed the generation gap.
