Does anyone have a recording of the turnstile sound at DLR in mp3 format or know where I can find it? I love that little chime/whistle/chirp noise and want to put it on my new cell phone.

Heck yeah! Then we could all recognize each other in the parks by listening to chirps and whistles from our cell phones, (because it seems that we all want the sound for our cells. )

Yet another thing we DISers share.... a love of the turnstile chirp!

I would really love to see someone come up with this.

Yeah it definitely has a chirping sound at the end. And come to think of it, I am pretty certain the turnstiles at WDW don't have that sound. Which I love by the way. Just one of those associations only a diser could appreciate! Hope you find the whole thing someplace.

I sent a text message to my daughter & asked her to record the sound. I also remember a 2-toned bird chirp type of sound. Hopefully she'll get it & we can upload it.

So, now I'm hearing the 2-tone chirp and the brrrriiinnnnggg sounds in my head!

There's also a distinctly different sound/chirp when it's your birthday. I've gone a couple of times on my birthday, and I've seen the HAPPY BIRTHDAY come up on the screen when I turned around to look. However, I have yet to hear the different chirp because it has just been too darn noisy!

I have noticed that if you are entering for the first time that day you get the "chimes", but if you are re-entering, then you get the "whistle". If there is something wrong with your ticket then you get "doing-ed".
