I am curious, although it's not a big deal either way. Does Disney have people answering the phone for WDW-DINE from their homes?
The other day, I heard a train whistle while I was talking on the telephone and trying to make some ADR's. I asked the CM if it was the Disney train (ha! ha!) and he said, "No, it's just a train outside."
Tonight, I heard a baby crying (and cooing) in the background. The CM was very nice, and I didn't want to put her on the spot and ask about the baby. At one point, the crying was pretty loud. So I just hurried off the phone. It was a couple minutes after 10 p.m. anyway, and I really had the feeling that she might need to go tend to that baby.
In the past, the most I have ever heard in the background was other CM's talking to future guests. This new development seems unusual.
I wonder if Disney would hire me to "man" their phones and take dining reservations for a few hours every evening. If I could do the job from my home, that would be pretty cool.
