Strange question about 2 resorts.

Ok...we originally booked our entire trip through a travel agent for 6 nights at All star movies. After looking around I decided I would like to do a split stay - talked to the travel agent - and she didn't see any opening at AoA. Long story short , I found an open room at AoA for the last 3 nights of our stay & booked it online.

The travel agent pretty much washed her hands of us the last 3 days of the trip although she was nice about it. She said I needed to contact Disney about ME, etc. I've paid for my tickets, the original room reservation & memory maker through the travel agent. Of course when I booked the last 3 night myself online, I paid the deposit amount.

So ..thanks for reading so far...

my question is...when do I pay the balance of the AoA nights? I mean I will be transferring from ASM ...but I was hoping to just be able to ask bell services to transfer my luggage to AoA & then hit the parks...but do I need to go pay the balance at AoA before I do this?

It's due when you check in, but you can pay it any time you want to. We like to have our trips fully paid off before we arrive even when we do room only.

If it's a room only reservation you generally just give them your CC when you check in (other than the 1 night deposit) and they charge the balance to your account. As for moving your luggage, yes have bell services move it from one resort to another. You do not need to check in/pay the balance before you do that. So you can check out in the morning, ask them to transfer your bags, and then go to a park and enjoy the day.

Thank you both! I've been stressing about this. I really didn't want to pay it in full before I went if I didn't have to but I also didn't want to have to go pay it off before they would move my luggage. Love the Dis! someone always knows the answer! ;0
