Strange Love

Has anybody had the misfortune to come across this show yet? I really cannot look away when watching it.

For those of you who haven't seen it...Brigitte Neilson (who is engaged) is dating Flavor Flav the rapper. She is about 3 feet taller than him and they really just look awful together. Brigitte is showing her age and Flavor has rotting teeth I think (or they are all dulled gold or something). He still wears that big clock around his neck too! Let it go friend, the clock doesn't work anymore. He really resembles a mummy.

She calls him "Foofy-Foofy" as a pet name.

If you haven't seen it, tune in. It will lower your IQ a few points but I'm sure most of us have a few extra to spare.

Sometimes at noon when I go home for lunch I will catch it. Bridget is engaged to someone else in Rome who is very good looking. Fu, Fu is trying to get Bridget to break the engagement and fall in love with him. I don't know who I feel more sorry for, it is just plain gross.

I saw a few episodes of the Surreal Life, where they met. I think both of them are just gross. He's got a gold plate on his teeth that says "Flavor Flav". He's taken it off before. I did see the first episode of Strange Love and thought it was strange that her fiance was so good-looking. Very strange.

I've seen it.....I know it's wrong, I know it's totally unredeeming and unbecoming, and probably permanently scorching little pieces of my soul every time I watch...but it's just fascinatingly awful. Therefore if I'm in charge of the clicker, and we happen across it, we're in it for the duration.



Another great thing is I think she and I are the same age, but dang, age has NOT been kind to her! Makes me feel better about my own years of basking in the sun....I look like a teenager next to her!

I've seen the promos for it, but have never watched an episode. So, they're really dating?? I was hoping it was just one of those shows where they have to try to convince people that they are.

couldn't sleep last night & found this show by accident. brigitte was lying face down in bed when i first tuned in & when she turned over i wanted to SCREAM!!!!! looked like a whacked out blonde haired, ugly white man in bed with a black man. the show is low--really low. even lower? the fact i couldn't pull myself away!

I tried to watch it once. The plot really sucks and I lost total interest. Plus they both are too disgusting to look at . . . but I have to admidt it's fun to scream out 'FLAVOR FLAV!'

I don't watch this, but I did see a Surreal Life marathon a couple of months ago.

She seems to have a really good heart under all that exterior, I just think she spreads it around too much.

Flavor Flav used to be one of my favorite MC's, but he was an *** on that show.

I wanted Ryan to kick him in the gold "teef"

LOL @ the poster who said it's fun to yell out FLAVA FLAAAAV! I do that on occasion to whilst watching the show. It's true that it's a terrible show, but like Snoopy, I can't help but watch it when it's on. That one episode where they stayed at the Villa overnight and in the morning, Flav told Bridgitte how pretty she was in the morning...OH MY! I was wondering to myself if he was really looking at the same person I was!

I think Brig really does have a good heart, even though, she seems to have a strange power over men! I can't believe her Fiance really slept in the closet! LOL!

They did show a preview of the whole series and at the end, Flav is standing at an alter and Brig is walking down the aisle in a wedding dress....but personally, I think maybe he ends up giving her away to her Matthias...but if her and Flav really do end up together...HOLY COW!
