I haven’t done it myself before but now I’m in charge of fastpasses for our huge vacation with quite a lot of people and I have the daunting task of trying to get them for everyone for Flight of Passage! It sounds silly but I really didn’t remember at all about tiered fastpasses.
When I first heard about it 2015, I had no clue about tiers either. I don't believe AK was tiered back then because FoP and Navi River didn't open till 2018 if I'm correct. EPCOT, I was only interested in Test Track and at MK tiers aren't necessary. Now that Mesaboy's thread is here and I've done more research, I realize I could have had more than the three initial FP throughout the day. Once you use those three, you can book one at a time till you leave the park.
@Klayfish and
@JETSDAD are probably tired of my tags, but that's what they get for being so darn good at the FP thing!

And you don't sound silly at all not remembering tiers.... *points up to reply above*. What did my first sentence say???
The problem with EPCOT and their tiers....TT, FEA, and Soarin are the big 3 and most people want to do all of those, but each one is a tier 1. You have to decide which one is the priority and book your FP that way, rope drop one, and do stand by on the last. For me, it's a TT FP, rope drop on FEA and then over to Somerhaus to meet Anna & Elsa, and then do stand by on Soarin. The ride capacity on Soarin is larger now that they added another theater, so by the time we trek over from Test Track the wait SHOULD only be 30 at the most. That's my limit for stand by lines.
I'm not interested in FoP or Navi, so all my AK FPs will be tier 2. Kali River, Kilimanjaro, Expedition Everest (tad nervous about this one

), and the Character Outpost are our must dos in that park. How many people are you trying to make FPs for on FoP. Just remember if you have more than 5, you might do better breaking them up into groups of 3 and finding overlapping FPs. Meaning...Group 1 9:30-10:30, Group 2 (9:45-10:45) and Group 3 (10:00-11:00). So now, group 1 and group 2 will show at at FoP at 10:00 to ride with group 3...make sense? You can arrive 5 minutes early and 15 minutes late and be okay, so group 1 and 2 will be good showing up at 10.

Good luck and keep us posted when it's FP time!
