Strange DxDP question

I'm taking a 3d/4n trip with my husband and daughter in about a month, and opted for the DxDP. My daughter does not eat at ALL for medical reasons, and is fed with an IV. We will be using three of her credits for character meals, as Disney told us that we have to pay for her meal even if she doesn't eat. (Part of the reason we were able to justify the dining plan, even though there was no way to opt out of her portion.)

The issue is that she will have 6 credits left. I know that the credits can be used for a kids meal at either TS or CS. I know that we can only order one kids meal at a time. I have a couple of questions though:

1) Is it "legal" for dh and I to eat a kids meal that we purchase with her credit?

2) If we use one of her credits at a place that doesn't have a kids menu (say Main Street Bakery for breakfast), would they be able to differentiate that we had used a kids credit? I know that on the QSDP the credits are all pooled, and it's no problem, but I'm thinking this could create an issue on the DxDP.

Thanks!

As long as you use a credit for which you paid a child's price to buy a child's meal it won't matter who eats it.

They don't differentiate between kids and adults meals at all on DxDDP so it makes no difference if you use her credit at a CS with no child's menu. It's up to you to ensure that if you are spending credits for which you paid a child's price, you buy a child's menu meal with it where they are available.
