I noticed on the calendar that there will be storytime with Deadpool when we're there. Haven't actually seen Deadpool but it sounds kinda quirky and fun. Has anyone been? Reviews?
Sorry if this is a repeat. I did search first.

Haven't seen it in person but have seen a couple YouTube videos. It is cute. You don't really need to know Deadpool but it might help in some of the references.

I saw Deadpool during his first storytime at DCA. It was really fun and quirky. The show is about 10-15 minutes. They do ask you to sit on the ground, so if you have a cushion to sit on, that helps.
You don't need to see any of the Deadpool movies to enjoy storytime, but it definitely helps with some of the inside jokes.
It's suitable for kids, but adults will definitely get some of the Deadpool humor.

Its a fun show for everyone, only issues are to get a good seat you have to wait a while. If you just want to watch the show from a far then just show up right before showtime and have a fun time. I think every showtime is a different story as well

I had never even heard of this new show before Jerrod? Is it new? What sort of stories does Deadpool tell? This sounds like a cool show I might like because Deadpool is my sweetheart and I am a huge fan of Deadpool. Does Deadpool do a meet and greet after the show as well? I am curious to know because if you meet Deadpool tell him that Dodger is a huge fan of his and be sure Deadpool sends me some love

Its a brand new show only around until the end of this month

Deadpool tells different Disney classic storys. If you want a taste of the show put a link below, while you might get a high five or something Deadpool doesn't meet guests just does the show.

I saw Storytime with Deadpool on Friday at the 2:20pm show. It’s a quirky and cute little show. Wolverine also came out. It’s about 10 minutes or so. I haven’t seen the movies, but my friend has and she liked it. The show was still funny without seeing the movies. As someone said above, you do sit on the ground if you’re inside the box area. If you’re outside the box, you stand. We sat down because we wanted to rest.

We went last Sunday and we thought it was really fun. My husband and son saw the movies and they really enjoyed it. My daughter and I never saw the movie but we still enjoyed it!

I saw Storytime with Deadpool (and Wolverine) a couple of weeks ago and it was hilarious. I had not seen the recent movie at that time but it did not prevent me from enjoying their rendition of "Beauty and the Beast." It was a hot day and their storytime was 8 minutes long. There is a section marked off with red tape where you have to sit on the ground. Otherwise, you can stand and watch it.

Actually, I see it all the way up to the end of available calendar. Fridays/weekends only, through 10/12 so far
