Storytellling at night?

Can anyone tell me about the storytellling they do at the rock at night at AKL? I was wondering if it is worthwhile. Thank you!!

It is quite interesting and I personally feel that it is worthwhile. The storytellers are very good.

I'd be interested in times and if it's interesting for small children as well. We have a 2 yr. old and a 4 yr. old.

Last May it was at 6:30pm and yes younger kids do enjoy it.

It is just a beautiful area! There is a big fire pit with big (and little!) rocking chairs around it. We watched it a few times on our way out to dinner. I did not plan well for this as all our dinner PS's conflicted with it! It is our one regret at AKL. Altho we did sit around the indoor fire place quite a bit (it was freezing during our stay).
