When I went to make PS's the other day, the CM told me that at Storyteller's Cafe, Chip and Dale are the only characters and that they are ONLY in the waiting area. I thought I had read elsewhere that there are other characters there. Could someone please clarify the character situation at Storyteller's?
Thanks!

I was there last October for breakfast and it was Chip, Dale, and Pluto. They do mostly stay in the waiting area. However, at one point, they played a little game where they rounded up all the kids and paraded around the restaurant. One of the chipmunks was in a playful mood and stopped by our table for a little bit of "nanny-nanny-boo-boo."

If you want a lot of character interaction, I've heard terrific things about Goofy's Kitchen, and the characters are also there for dinner (I think lunch too, but I'm not positive).

We enjoyed the food at Storyteller's for both breakfast buffet and dinner from the menu.

Storytellers is great if you want a low-key character breakfast experience. When I enjoyed it I found the food to be very good - but Chip & Dale are only in the entry area and dont visit you at your table. I have been told this is because there are folks who stay at GC and want breakfast without all the hoopla. It is very mellow!
My recommendation is the Plaza Inn on Main St. You can't make PS's but it is my fav for character interaction at breakfast at DL. Less crowded than GK and better food - IMO.

We were just at breakfast at the Storyteller's Cafe this morning and yes, Chip, Dale & Pluto stayed at the entryway and entertained the children who approached them. They did not circulate in the restaurant, however they did parade around & invite others to join them for a "Following the Leader" song. Goofy's Kitchen is much better for character interaction; they all come to your table while you are dining. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the replies! I think we'll stick to the other character meals that have more character interaction for our little one (and us!!!).
