I just realized after booking a 1:00 reservation for tomorrow that it's for the character breakfast. Can we order lunch? When booking, it didn't say anything about the character breakfast but it did in the email. I'd hate to get charged if it's not what we want and do something else.

Edit: I called to see if I can just cancel because nobody wants to eat breakfast food at 1:00 nor do I want to be charged :rolleyes1 So, to answer my question, she said no, there is not a lunch menu at 1:00. Bummer. She cancelled my reservation without any hesitation.

I noticed when we were there earlier this month that they were offering an extended character meal until 2 PM at Storyteller's at least on the weekend. The meal probably includes breakfast and lunch type items, but it was definitely a character meal at character meal prices. Lunch without characters wasn't being offered as an option. This seems to be a new thing. Perhaps you can call Disney dining and explain the misunderstanding and they might waive the fee.

I edited as you posted but they did waive the fee. Thank you! It's too bad - I enjoy their lunch but don't want to wait until 2:00.

We had a trip planned in July. They called me to switch my 12:00 Sunday lunch to 2:00. She said on weekends, the character breakfast would last until 2. Lunch would be something like 2-5.
We had to cancel the trip, so we didn't eat there. We do have a 2:00 Sunday lunch scheduled for September 11.
