Storybook character CHEAP costume?

Blue Jeans, Shirt with Red and white stripes and a pair of black glasses - Where's Waldo.

When my DD20 was in second or third grade the whole class dressed as Wheres Waldo. One of the parents made the glasses for each child from cardboard. Nice thing about this costume was not having to change clothes, or having to wear something that was uncomfortable all day.

One of my daughters went a froggy- green clothes, green visor with google eyes added, we cut green foam doorhangers to make feet. Total cost $3. I think its easier to just pick a costume you have and then find a book to go with it!
