:thumbsup2 Let me add my WOW in there, I keep looking at the photo of you and your DP and it is amazing, this rookie would never have known it was different photos put together!

Aww, thanks. Here is the proof: the original seperate photos.

That is so cool - thanks for showing us the two separate pictures. Post the one from DL where the castle was under construction - some of these guys probably haven't seen that... it blows my mind!

Yep - that's the one - WOW! It blows my mind!! You can't even tell that you've done anything to the picture. Really cool.

Tuppence,

Since you obviouslly have the knack for this photo thing, do you mind if I ask a question? When I add characters and borders to my photos I save them in JPEG, when I print them they don't come out very well, they are grainy. I'm sure it has something to do with the resolution, I had the originals printed at WalMart and they came out great, so how do I save them so that they will print better?

Thanks for any help,

Debbie

Along those same lines, TuppenceABag, what resolution do you use when creating designs to print? I am never sure of that. Also, I have created new images at using 8" for width and 11" for height and resolution of 255 pixels/inch. When I print from Photoshop Elements, it tells me that the design will print in less than 220 pixels/inch at that size. Why?

I hope you don't mind all these questions. Your work is truly amazing!

Beth

I am afraid I am not going to be much help as I've never had any cause to print any of my creations (sans for a t-shirt design I made for X-mas in 2003, that we ironed on). I don't know how hard copies would look. I usually just do them at the 72 pixels/inch. I do know that when we printed out designs for the t-shirts we did, I set them at 403 pixels/inch and that seemed to work fine. If you do that the image will look HUGE in Photoshop but if you go to print view it should look normal size. I don't know if this helps much.
