Hardly slept all night with the wind howling down the chimney and the rain lashing against the windows. Fence panels are down on one side and dustbin and flower tubs have been blown over.

Saw the postman running down the street trying to catch some of his letters!!

Just spoke to my sister-in-law 250 miles away and she is taking her grandchildren out for the day as it's so nice.

This is not the Bournemouth we love :sad2:

Same here. I worked till half 1 am as well
so am tired. Can't believe the sudden change in weather. This is in the east of England Ox

It's the same here in Hertfordshire......horrid!

No way I am going out in it, for the first time ever I am quite happy to be doing some ironing! :faint:

Same here calmed down a bit now but last night god it was awful especially around 2 when it woke me up and kept me up it really was coming down some.

Me too. Tesco can wait until tomorrow. We've spent all morning turning the light on and off as it keeps going so dark.
I'm so tempted to book Florida for next year on days like this but commonsense stops me as both boys have exams. Will have to get my fix doing this:surfweb: on here!

Its was bad here all night & the night before. I was working & got soaked trying to get a patient into the ambulance. The roads were flooded everywhere too

I like weather like this, only not when i'm working
