Hi. We are heading to the Fort on Saturday. After dealing with crappy weather the last couple weeks here in Tampa, I got to wondering if anyone has any good ideas for what to do/where to go in the event of storms while camping. I have no issues with rain just lightening. We actually won't be going to the parks this trip. (We are seasonal pass holders so go frequently during the non blackout dates.) We have plans to use the pool, mini-golf, breakfast at 'Ohana, rent a boat, take a surrey for a spin, do the pony ride, etc., etc. My only non outdoor thought is to see the new Pooh movie at Downtown Disney. (My son is 4 so Disney Quest is probably not worth it.) Just wondering what others have done in the event of extended thunderstorms in the area. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

If at campsite duck into a store or comfort station. If you have notice, I'd go resort hopping or shopping at DTD.

Resort Hop - Contemporary Resort Arcade and then looping around on the monorail. Buy a dessert at each resort and share it for a treat. Look in the gift shops.

Never done this but you could check out Prime Outlets Orlando on International Drive and the Mall at Millenia near the intersection of the I-4 and Florida Turnpike.

You could buy the book on Hidden Mickeys and then take the bus to different resorts to find them - or collect a pressed penny or pin from each resort you visit

The Lego store at DTD - play area

I say resort hop, I love to do this! And I like the idea of a dessert from each resort too ; )
