I love the vibe! Very happy every time I’m there. If you get park hopper tickets you can head into Epcot for quick service. My kids like the Regal Eagle there.

We actually like the BC quick service. It's changed over the years for good and for bad. It's also an easy walk to the YC quick service location, which has some slightly different options. Ale & Compass also has a mobile order to-go option.

We also love the location, and are very happy with our BCV points. We are even happy with the villa pool, it often isn’t very crowded.

We purchased five years ago and have ZERO regrets. For us its:

1. location - walk to two parks, two other resorts, boardwalk
2. transportation - walking, boat, skyliner (and busses of courses)
3. The quiet pool is great
4. So many options for food (both near and within the yacht and beach)
5. and yes, the pool doesn't hurt! Such a fun time and never struggle to find seating.

And don't forget that, if you have a park hopper, you can eat at Le Halles Bakery (yes, they have savory options), then go over to DHS. That's one reason I love it. I found out the hard way that, even in the pouring rain, you can get to Beaches and Cream without getting wet.
I'm probably in the minority in saying that BCV is my favorite resort and yet the pool holds no interest to me.

I received several emails this past week about our beach club stay. They say that SAB will be closed.

I'm booked the last week of June.

Oof this is rough...planned the first week of July at 11 months with the assumtion they would be on target to have pool opened for 4th of July but now getting nervous. And impossible to switch as will be within 31 days if we find out the reno will go longer than end of June. Cmon Disney construction get to work! I'll come down and help if you need just get me a hard hat!

I’m still glad about having BCV, the location really can’t be beat!

It will finish. They delayed the project through end of June before it even started and nothing seemingly has changed. They possibly found a few people who were not notified and likely wanted to make sure they were sent a notice.

I expect June 27th or 30th the pool reopens possibly with a preview prior to that?

I have not actual knowledge I am completely guessing.

Just recorded a 1st floor room request for our BCV stay. With a scooter with us figured it would be easier. Elevators were never a big issue but figure it might help plus be a little quicker to the drink refill stations (we are going to let the kids get cups this trip).

For quick options, don’t forget about Hurricane Hanna’s and then all 3 lounges (CC, MV, A&C) have a good variety of food choices.

For sure location can't be beat but was using this as our family's "Florida/pool/resort" type vacation. Just did two park heavy trips in the last 3 months and wanted SAB specifically. We'll see. Hopefully they're pushing hard to get it done by deadline.
