Could someone explain what this is or point me in the direction of any pictures. I will be staying at the BCV soon, and my mother doesn't want to go to the parks, just sit around the pool. I know it is a water park, kind of, lol, but not much more.

I have tried to do a search here, and it tells me I have to have at least four words. I also did a search on Disney's website, and didn't come up with much there either.

Any info greatly appreciated.

It is basically a very big pool with sand at the bottom of it and it has several themed areas. One area is called "sinking sands", this is where you stand in it and sink up to your knees. Another area is the "Lazy River", this area you can float on with inner tubes. Another area is called the "bubbling sands", this area has bubbles coming up from below. There is also an area that is about 1 1/2 foot deep for little ones to play in and build sandcastles. Deb has several pictures on her site here: http://www.wdwig.com/g_bc.htm

Great description of SAB Terry. Additionally, there is a pool and hot tub just for folks staying in the BCV. One third of the rooms at BCV have a view of the pool and it's a nice break from SAB.

Thanks for the SAB info. We'll be there in Oct. Can hardly wait. Last year we brought our swim suits but didn't use them, we may have to change our minds this year. I love floating in inner tubes, my favorite activity at Typhoon Lagoon!
