I read a while back that you could use your own tubes on the lazy river of SAB, if they were transparent. Has anyone brought their own lately and were they ok with it? The ones I have are pink and yellow, but are still transparent. Do you think they would let me use these? I don't want to pack them if they won't let me use them. The daily fee for the tubes is pretty high and I don't really want to pay that much to rent them. If you have any info on this, I would love to hear it. Thanks!

Those shouldn't be a problem. But I did want to let you know that it's not a lazy river, more like a lazy donut. It's not all that big and just goes around a circle, it's also pretty deep around 6-8 ft over there, so not really good for non-swimmers. It's not anything you'd find at TL or BB. It lasts all of about 10 seconds to go around once.

Did you see other people using colored ones? I don't want to get in trouble.

Yes, as someone mentioned the lazy river at SAB is 8 feet deep, so only good swimmers should be there. We didn't see any personal tubs when there this August, however, most folks either buy or bring their own noodles. Much easier to use. We picked up a couple at Publix when we got there for a couple of dollars used them the entire time.
