Please forgive me if this is a redundant question, but I dont want to be embarassed if they turn my guests away:confused:

If I am residing at BCV may I invite my sister and her son to join us at Stormalong Bay??

Thanks so much for any helpful information.

depends upon how big your villa is -

1 bedroom or studio will only allow 4

2 bedrooms will allow 8

get the maximum amount of keys when you check in - plus get your sister a parking lot permit.

just make sure that your extra keys don't have charging unless you want your sister to have charging priviledges to your cc.

Now some other DVC members have stayed that the front desk allowed them 6 keys for a studio (the max should have been 4) - but I haven't try that. So don't have first hand experience of during this.

just ask the manager on duty if it would be ok. if occupancy is down, he/she may allow it.

Signs posted at the pools at the resorts indicate that the pools are reserved for the guests of the resort. If you have enough spare places in your villa (first response to you), you won't have any problem. If not, you may have a problem. They do check room IDs at SAB. There usually isn't much of a crowd at the quiet pool, though.

You might have a better chance getting permission in the afternoons. The week before July 4 they rarely wanted to see ids when the pool was empty after the afternoon rain showers. Most of the time the lifeguard checking for ids saw our key and asked how many wristbands we needed. The main concern seemed to be to make sure you arent just there pool hopping.

Thanks for your replies, Good news, my sisters waitlist for BCV came thru:p

We were at SAB last week. The pool was so busy that the attendants were only checking wristbands if you wanted a towel. They weren't even covering all the entrances. And they stop checking altogether after 5pm.

Most people there (99%) had wristbands on, but I'm sure a few folks were guests of others at BC/YC/BCV. The pool was busy, but it wasn't awful. We were always able to get some sort of chair and there were plenty of towels.

The wristband policy does seem to keep the population within reason.

Have a great trip now that you'll be all together anyway!
