I agree, I wouldn't do it without a tube or float--and no way would I let smaller kids do it without floats. You can buy a float at a dollar store and use that, and even leave it when you go home, if you want. I forget the rental prices. The current can be strong!

Last year they were not allowing any floats from home - not even clear ones. The only option was to rent floats at SAB.
And I agree - there is nothing lazy about the river!! It is very DEEP and the current is strong - I swam it once and was worn out!

There may be one at the pool. The little kids area is towards the Yacht Club side. The "lazy river" is in the center. The big slide, sinking sands are closer to the Beach Club side.
