Storing Medical Stroller During Rides

Last time we were at WDW was for our daughter's Wish Trip. She still fit in her regular stroller, and she was on continuous fluids, so there was no need to leave anything of value behind while we went on rides - we'd just park her strollers with the other strollers. However, this time, we'll be traveling with her medical stroller (Convaid Cruiser), and she is not on continuous fluids, so we'll be storing her feeding pump, etc. underneath when she's not using it. My guess is that she will resist using her stroller, as we are traveling with another family and the older she gets, the more resistant she is to appearing "different." But, we will still have to have it with us because sometimes her "issues" are unpredictable, and she's way too big to be carried. So, I guess my question is what do we do with it while we're on rides? I don't want to park it with the stroller parking because 1.) the cost, and 2.) we'll be using the basket to store necessary medical equipment. Experiences?

Go to guest services and request a "stroller can be used as a wheelchair" sticker due to your child's illness. That way you'll be able to take it in all the lines with you whether she's riding in it or not. You leave it right before you board & it will be waiting for you as you get off. I don't think you technically need the sticker because it already a form of wheelchair but it will keep you from having to explain to CMs who might think it's just a regular stroller.

because of medical equipment, i would diffently get the stroller as a wheelchair tag. should not need but will make it easier at rides. as pp said it will be waiting for you as you get off. another way to look at it is will rain hurt any of the med equip if a shower should happen while you are on a ride? stroller as wheelchair tag will keep it out of the weather.

Even if she refuses to use it at that moment, bring it in the lines for rides - you never know when she will need it, and I would not leave that much medical equipment unattended.

First Aid can also store medical supplies for you if need be.

Thank you! I didn't realize that it was possible to take it all the way to the entrance. At Six Flags, many rides won't let us do that, which means either my husband or I stay with the stroller while everyone else rides. Kind of defies "family activity" when you can't stay together as a family.

Go to guest assistance and ask for a stroller as wheelchair card, that way you can take it with you in line just in case you need it and it is not left unattended while you're in the rides.

Shows are all wheelchair accessible and rides are all heel chair accessible to the point of boarding.
