Stores near MCO hotels?

Anyone know if the are there any food and/or liquor stores near the hotels just north of MCO? We are flying in the afternoon before our cruise and staying at either the Marriott or Courtyard. We will have a car, so a short drive is not a problem. We've never stayed in that part of Orlando (usually stay near Sea World), so we're not familiar with that area.

Sorry I don't have an answer, but what a good question as DH wants to buy beer before our cruise too, and doesn't want to pack them in the luggage for fear of leakage.

We're staying at MCO Hyatt.

Does anyone know if there's anywhere to buy beer at the airport also?

Not near the hotels, no. But there's a Winn Dixie with a liquor store about three miles north. Not a problem if you have a rental car, but a bit far to walk.

Thanks Dave........... is the Winn Dixie store on the same highway as the hotels (Route 436/S Semoran Blvd)?

If you head "away" from the airport on 436, Semoran Blvd (436...Semoran Blvd...dead ends at the airport) you will find a grocery store on the left hand side off of Semoran and Pershing (last time I was out there it was Goodings, but I believe they were all sold to Winn Dixie). It is only about 5 minutes up the road

The closest store to the hotels is a new Walgreen's drugstore just a bit north of most of the hotels. The Winn Dixie is about 2 miles north of the hotels (Hwy 436/Semoran & Pershing) a bit further are more stores including a Walmart and a Publix grocery, lots of fast food & other restaurants-actually a busy commercial area.
