Storage of Cases?

For one of our trips next year we're going to be in WDW for about 2 weeks. We're likely to stay at SSR from Sun-Thurs of week one, head up to New York for the friday and saturday and then back to SSR for Sun- maybe wed/thurs. This will be to visit friends and save some points for a couple of nights. We're not usually worried about saving the points but that trip it seems sensible as we won't get to the friends in NY for another year or two.

We don't want to drag our huge suitcases all the way to NY for 2 days, and my query is can you leave them anywhere at SSR/Disney - or can anyone recommend a safe storage place - inexpensive, easy to get to?

If you are checking out of SSR and then checking back in a couple of days later I think they will keep your luggage there.

Really? That would be great as we'd only want to take overnight bags to NY with us and leave all the Florida and Disney stuff at SSR!!

We did it a few years ago. We checked out of the boardwalk and flew to vegas for a few days, they were happy to keep our cases and just took a note of our return date.

The bell staff at SSR will be glad to temporarily store your luggage. They do it all of the time for folks going on a cruise. Just tell them how many nights you'll be away and that you're coming back to SSR and they'll store it towards the rear out of the way.
