my ds and dd both have a nintendo ds. i never got them a storage case for them though, cuz i couldn't find anything that i liked. they each have the wall charger, car charger, about 5-8 ds games and game cases. they also have quite a few of the old gameboy games (around 10ish) that they use for their ds. i'm getting sick of seeing their games and access laying around the house. they try to take care of them, but there is just no way to organize them. we shove it all in a drawer! i would love to get them a bag or case of some sort to store them in. i'm not really impressed with the cases that nintendo offers...they don't really seem roomy enough for all the games and accessories. what do you store your dk's ds in??? can anyone show me a pic of what they use?
thanks for your time!

We use the Nintendo backpack cases. (DD has the old GB Advance, DS has the DS) They are able to get the system, all their games, car charger, wall charger, extra pens, screen protectors, etc etc etc with plenty of room....and the cases have held up really well.

We also use the Pelican Game Rings. All of your games are attached to this ring (I think we have 3 or 4 rings)..... we haven't lost a game yet!! I give 'em two thumbs up & recommend them to everyone. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

i have never seen the backpacks in our stores...they look pretty roomy. the only cases for storage that i have seen are these little zipper binder type things. i'll have to be on teh lookout for the backpack.
where did you get that ring?? that looks pretty handy!! and much more compact than all those hard plastic cases!

We got this case in white and pink for our dd. I too had a hard time finding anything other than the binder, but this carries a lot of games as well as all of her other accessories for the DS

So do they have some sort of adhesive on the back that sticks them to the games?!

I can't tell you how many games we've lost, then found, then lost again. This seems like a great solution!

Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for this tip. These are exactly what we need. I ordered 5 rings for $19.95 (Free shipping) from http://www.ring-boy.com/.

Yep~ that's where we got them :thumbsup2

Yes, they have some sticky adhesive on them....holds forever, but comes off if you really really need (like to trade in the game). Also great because you can play the game while it's still on the ring, you don't have to unhook them.

Can you unhook the games if you want to?
Can't see ds wanting to play a game while all of the other ones hang on the ring.

Thank you!!

Love that ring thing. Haven't seen it before.

My sons each have an old backpack to hold a plastic box from Target with moveable dividers.

Absolutely ~ very easily.

My favorite new store, http://www.ichibankanusa.com/,has some really cool and cheap ds accessories. I would link to photos, but they are down for maintenance until Mon. I think the organizer that holds games under and the DS on top was around $3. They also have a finger stylus that she loves. Some great stocking stuffers on that site as well!

Glad I stumbled onto this thread. We just started looking for something that will hold the wall charger. We purchased a case from Game Stop but it doesn't hold the charger. Our ds only has about 5 games and we don't plan on purchasing more any time soon, so we don't need a ton of game storage room, but we do need something to hold the AC charger.

We'll look into the backpack thing. I just hope its not too big.

I got a plastic pencil box from Walmart for about 70 cents. You can see through it and it fits the DS and about 5-6 games. DD put stickers on it to decorate it, but it has a colored lid anyway.
