Stopping place around Baltimore area

We are planning a driving trip to and from Disney World next Spring from the Boston area. We've done this several times, and on the way down we always stop in Florence, SC, because there are many hotels to choose from and they are right off I-95. I'm having trouble remembering a return location that's about the same driving mileage from Orlando up. The mileage to Florence is 841 miles, so we are looking for about the same amount on our drive home. We like to do the most driving on Day 1. Can anyone recommend a stopping place that's past DC that would be right off the highway, and probably around Baltimore, and could be a little further? We're hoping for a location that has many hotel and restaurant choices.

I think there are some places just past Baltimore in Aberdeen that are right off the intersate with lots of close places too eat. I dont recall much on I95 between DC and Baltimore but sprawl and more traffic :-( You can also try stopping in Fredericksburg, its about an hour south of DC in Va.

If you can make it to White Marsh there is a Hampton Inn. The White Marsh exit is a couple of miles after you take the 95 split and head north towards New York. After that I would head towards Aberdeen as the pp suggested.

There's a new area (Hanover, MD) east of 95 (about 5-7 minutes) Arundel Mills Mall. There are quite a few hotels(Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites and Hampton Inn) many many restaurants. Take 95 to 100 E and it's right there!

Another choice would be Newark/Christiana, Delaware. There's a huge mall and a hospital in Christiana and the University of DE in Newark. Right off 95, about an hour north of Baltimore.
