I am making progress everyday!
Still very tired, which they tell me is normal. these treatments sure did take a toll on my body. I am getting all the rest that my body needs during this time, eating well, etc. I find each day a little better. I am not overdoing it in anyway. Just call me The PJ Queen. Every morning a nice hot shower and fresh clean PJ's, plus that is all that fits me right now. My body is still so blown up from all the steriods and anti-rejection meds. Oh did I mention just how cold it is as well! Well it is cold and getting colder!
Kingdom Keepers came in today, my eyes are much better now that I am being tappered back to normal meds amounts. I might try to read some of it this weekend. Gary is off on Thursday, so my Mom is coming over and going to cook that nice Turkey dinner for us. I am looking forward to it, just like Thanksgiving. all the trimmings!
I heard there's going to be apple pie too!
For now, I am still not allowed alot of people around me as
they bring my immune system back up. So it just been DH and Mom. I am just so happy to be home and know that they saved my new Pancreas.
Please don't take your Organs to Heaven...
Heaven knows we need them here...
