Ok - I'm just going to have to vent for a minute...

Teenagers, please read!! Whatever happened to wearing clothes that actually fit?! Why must you wear those WAY TOO TIGHT jeans/pants with waist bands that cut into your collective midsections producing a muffin-top-like effect?! Be aware that these waistbands are pushing what nonexistent fat you might have OVER your pants making you look bumpy and weird! Girls, it looks AWFUL! PLEASE heed my plea - STOP THE MUFFIN TOPS!!

At first I thought you meant those muffin tops that you can buy at starbucks :rotfl:

ITA, you guys look stupid. I'm glad not to be one of you :flower:

I agree, it's crazy! Do they really think it looks attractive to have that "look"?

I swear, I'm innocent. I don't do that. Heck I'm only now getting out of the t-shirt kick and wearing shirts that are somewhat fitted. My butt, hips, etc are big enough. I don't need the muffin effect (or the wedgie effect) accentuating that. I'd have never gotten away with (heck I'm in college and still really couldn't) what so many people wear. My mom has always expected me to be appropriately dressed (she's a teacher...). I don't understand how that style is comfortable, at all.

It makes me crazy when I see a girl that is in no way overweight with a muffin top. If you would just buy your pants one size bigger you would look great! I guess as long as society tells us we must wear a size 0 these girls will continue to stuff themselves into clothes that don't fit. :confused3

ETA: It's not just teenagers by the way. I've seen alot of middle aged women do it. :confused3

Oh yeah ... that's the "doesn't she have a mirror at home" canned response.

My mom would never have allowed it either, so thank you, sensible moms!

Tee hee hee! I've never heard it called that but what a perfect name!

Add me to the list of folks who thought you had some kind of beef with baked goods...

I love low rise pants, but wear them in the appropriate size. There tight but no muffin tops.

I had never heard of this "muffin Top" till last week while in Disney World with RickinNyc and Billiesotherdad. We say more muffin tops then they could ever sell at a Starbucks bawwhhaaa they explained
