Okay, I was all set to take a trip in October, staying offsite and sharing a house with friends. So for some odd reason, I go to get a quote for Labor Day weekend(4 nights) and the price was $468 for me and DS11 at Pop with one day tickets(we have days left from our March trip to use) and of course, the free dining plan.
If I go in October, the cost will be $250 for the shared house, then food and parking at Disney, which for 4 days would be $48. Food I would guess at $30-$40 per day for the two of us, so that is $160. It would also be 10-15 miles to and from the park each day(GAS).
Basically, its a dead-on tie. I'd be driving either way, so I didn't add that cost in.
PROS: Better food, closer to the parks, and we liked Pop when we were there in March
CONS: Less time to save money, no MNSSHP, Hotter weather in August/September
So, what would YOU do?
Marsha
