Stocking Stuffers for Teens

Restoration Hardware has a neat little speaker that can attach to the bottom of an Ipod. I got this to go in my daughters' stockings. It is cheap ($10.49) and small so I am not expecting great sound but it looks like a fun gadget. It is also an eco green product so that should appeal to my teens.

I went back to the mall and Target last night and got:

1 pair of Hollister underwear
1 pair of Family Guy boxers
1 pk of 5 gum
Skull Candy earbuds
2 packs of Jones Carbonated Candy
1 Obama pen
Element T-Shirt from Pac-Sun

I think that's all I can remember for now, but that should at least give him some things.

Now, I've just got to get it together for his birthday tomorrow!

Well, my DS14 is into guitars, so I am putting in strings and picks. Also putting in chapstick, candy, slinky, earbuds, small speakers for MP3 player(dollar tree), and a novelty washcloth(the ones that "grow" when you wet them) I need to look for more stuff today.

I second the boxers idea, my 15 year old is getting charger boxers this year in his. They will be handy when he has to strip down on the field next year when he plays football LOL.
Also an itunes gift card as well as an xbox game.

My mom always put essentials in my stocking when I was older...

deodorant
soap
school supplies
underwear
socks
CD's (that's not an essential)
vitamins (if he takes them)
and other things like this


My girls are 10 and 5 and I put these type of these things in their stockings now, so when they are older, they'll be used to, and it'll seem normal. I actually think that if my girls didn't get socks in their socks, they would think something weird is happening

Last year I put this silly little thing I got at Target in my 13-year-old boy's stocking. You push buttons and it makes farting noises. I know, it's gross, but it was a huge hit.

Also we got them a Barnes and Noble gift card.
And yes I am going to add lottery tickets too.

Candy selection was awful at Target. I waited too late this year to buy that. Not that we need it.

One of the kiosks in our mall has everything Obama--hats, T-shirts, keychains, pens, buttons.

A few weeks ago I was up at the Ft. Belvoir exchanged and a woman was outside the exchange with an Obama table. She had some really nice stuff--a great black or pink knit cap that said I "heart" Obama. I should have gotten it. Our mall kiosk also had a hat but the Obama was in rhinestones. I don't think my son would wear that.

That's what both of my sons like too. I guess it's the popular thing. However, I did tell my son that you should just use one short spray because when you use too much it is not a good thing.
