STK Coming to DTD

How do you all feel about the restaurant STK coming to DTD this year? I think it looks kind of cool, although probably not a top priority for our family. It seems like they are bringing back more adult entertainment options though.

I wish there was more info on this like when it's going to open or if it will be on the dining plan. The other stk locations look pretty cool

That's really cool. I've enjoyed many meals at a couple of the stks.

It's very early. It will be a while before that is announced.

In many ways, I hope it is not on the dining plan. I think restaurants like this and others don't need it, they need to be independent, to be inspirational with their menus and offerings. Too much run of the mill, can get it anywhere else type food already exists in part to the cost model of how the Dining Plan works.

More and more often I find myself at the few restaurants that are inspirational in Disney and outside of Disney because when I go out to dinner, I want to be left impressed not feeling as though I could have just made it myself back at my room.

If you look at it on the Disney website, it lists that it is not. Probably because it's so early they haven't really updated the information though. I'm interested though what the menu will be like, glad to have some new options at Disney Springs.........Disney Springs. Just sounds strange saying that.

Here's a link to the STK website: STK. If you click on a specific restaurant you can see the menu and prices. It's definitely in the same category is Shula's! That probably means it won't be on the dining plan.

STK is a good place. I've been to the Vegas one several times. It's way better than Yachtsman and on par with Shula's
