Anybody ridden Stitch? Can you tell me EXACTLY whats gonna happen. My almost 9DD wants to ride but dosen't like Honey... or ....Be a Bug. I want to prepare her for whats going to happen so she can really decide.

not a ride

it's alien encounter except stich gets teleported, and there are the big loud auto lazers from the movie that shoot all around the room.

it gets very dark, and it is very loud

And you'll get "spit" on. My DS4 liked it alot, but was a bit too short to get the full effect, since the shoulder harness does play a role in the experience.

I was very disappointed in Stitch's Great Escape. They changed the opening pre-pre-show film - which was funny IMO - to a really lame cartoon opening show. They put a friendly face on the android in the pre-show but have the exact same creature being teleported that they did before. Now they say it's two different creatures and you see both of them at the same time instead of moving the sweet little creature from one place to the other and making him mean when he's teleported like they used to. Then you go in the same room, get locked down with the same equipment and they put you in the same pitch darkness which is what bothers most kids anyway. The special effects - the breathing etc - is the same! I was next to a family with 3 young kids - The 2 youngest were screaming and crying the whole time from the moment the lights went out. The oldest child was next to me and I'd say she was about 9. I felt something on my fanny pack and when I reached there to see what it was - it was her hand! She grabbed on to me and didn't let go until it was over. A CM came over with a flashlight and tried to talk to the other younger kids, telling them Stitch isn't a bad guy - etc - but it didn't help one bit. If your kids are afraid of pitch darkness - don't take them to this. And if your kids enjoy good entertainment - don't take them to this!

I'm curious about this attraction as well. I love stitch :) Will I hate this attraction? I guess I'll have to go see for myself.

Thank you, I think we will skip this one. After reading your replies, I'm a littlt afraid myself

The pre-shows are fine, just your typical Disney pre-shows with nothing scary that I can recall. Then you go 'into the round' and take a seat. The harness comes down on you and the lights go out. You see Stitch in the center, he escapes. Darkness. You hear sounds all around you, smell a few nasty scents, you're supposed to feel Stitch walking or jumping on your harness. Lights come up. If you're a young child you're probably going to be scared to death. By 9...I don't know, some can probably take it fine, others who are of a more delicate constitution might be a little scared. Personally, though I love Stitch, I found the thing boring and incomplete. I thought the designers were incredibly lazy and I won't be riding again anytime soon.
