Stitch's Great Escape?

It is boring, boring, boring.

You go in and sit down in seats that surround a large cylinder. The sound/strip things gets lowered. The lights go off. You smell a burp and feel strips (supposed to be Stitch) flounce around your head. Then the lights come on and you leave.

There is some audio/talking stuff, I don't remember what they say. Once or twice, the cylinder lights up and Stitch is in it.

Sounds Dangerous is probably a little more boring, but not by much.

If you do ride, be sure to sit up nice and straight when that thing comes down or else it can be an uncomfortable few minutes.

It's not really a ride. You don't move in your seats. We thought it was cute and entertaining. It's not the best attraction ever but it certainly isn't the worst either.

Most of the complaints stem from the fact it isn't alien encounter, which it replaced.

A few others stem from the BURRRRRRRRRRP. I will say no more.

My thoughts exactly, we still do it every trip (just once each time though)

Our 8 year old Stitch fan loves it. We only did it twice on our trip a few weeks ago, but he'd have done it more often. You definitely want to follow the tips from above - push up against the restraints as they come down... you'll be a lot more comfortable.

Overall, I think its ok. The end bit of animation always makes me chuckle, I have to admit.

It's good to pair it up with the Monster Laugh Floor. They're right across the street from each other, and if you get out from Stitch quickly, you're usually set up well to walk right into Monsters with a short wait.

But the Stitch ride itself is really, in my opinion, only for those who really love Stitch.

What is funny is that my son has problems with the story line... since it's about Stitch when he was still Experiment 626, and so how would he know he's going to be named Stitch by Lilo? :-)

Honestly, though, I think if Disney knew how HUGE Stitch would become since they made this ride, they'd have come up with something bigger and better for him. In fact, it wouldn't suprise me if some day they do.
