Just returned from MK Sun and Mon. They had the new Stitch ride open for a few hours both days.
We got to experience it twice. My 6 year old daughter loved it, though many children her age were scared.
It had not changed much since the Alien Encounter. Same robot and same furry monster. Same room and set up. The lights still go out. The videos are cartoons, and of course Stitch is up to his usually mess. Other than changing the escaping monster to stitch, I dont see why it has taken so long to open. Overall we liked it.

PS There were more characters at the park than I have ever saw at the MK. It seemed they were everywhere. Donald, Ariel, Sleeping Beaty, and Snow White have joined Cinderella in Toon Town. :bounce: :bounce: :teeth:

thank you for that, I am really looking forward to this ride. Not long to go for me now!

i don't understand why there needs to be a height restriction on this ride, you don't move about do you? Or at least you never did on Alien Encounter??

The height restriction probably has to do with the headset that lowers to the shoulders, and the pressure necessary to set it at the "proper" height for the guests. And I'm wondering if there is a very slight motion to the theater, I seem to recall a rocking motion on the old "Mission to Mars" version, though I only road AE a couple of times, I can't remember if the theater still did that.
