Stitch Space Vehicle Pin

hmm...Ive been debating posting on here or not. I've been reading this thread since the first post was made and thought something was a bit fishy...Before I get my head bitten off I'd like to say I don't think the original person who posted this should be yelled at or blamed or anything because she was just passing along information but who ever this "friend" is should really be questioned. As a photographer, computer nerd, artist and photomanipulator I think this is a fake and I will explain why I think this. First of all I will state the obvious that I think anyone should/could realize. There is yellow wording cut of on the bottom...VMK would NOT do that...Since when do we have a majorly oddly shaped magic pin? Let alone one that looks like a water park pin...? Now to some of the less obvious...If you take a look around the wording you can see the "rainbow" affect in the blue. Someone changed the wording. They probably saved it as a .jpg and a low resolution file which made that "rainbow" affect. It's also quite easy to put stars on magic pins. Ive done it myself in Photoshop. It's really not hard even more so for someone who knows what they are doing. Last but not least I'll repeat I dont think the original poster did anything wrong so please dont chew me out for giving my opinion as a computer nerd thanks. And thats all I will say. :surfweb:

this is exactly what i thought after looking at it in depth!

One other point if it hasn't been raised already....if someone really had this pin, odds are they wouldn't just be walking around with it. There would be hoards of people surrounding this individual to demonstrate the magic. So if there was an "ultimate evidence" type screen shot it would have been of the magic in use.

electric lime could answer this question once and for all to be honest LOL

the pin is either IN the database or NOT.

He did...see below:

There is a "Stitch Space Vehicle Magic" pin in the database. It was added a few days ago.

If someone reminds me what the URL is to display a pin image (that the 'pins worn' thing on the VMK home page uses), I'll see if the image of this pin is online yet.

Yes. To reiterate - there *is* a pin named "Stitch Space Vehicle Magic" in the database.

I can't say for certain whether the screenshot in question is of that pin, but I suspect that the screenshot is real.

I found the URL to display pin images, but Disney hasn't uploaded this pin's image there yet (which isn't a problem - they haven't uploaded lots of pin images there yet).

It does look like a really poorly made pin. However, it could just be a prototype thing where they just had to put a pin image on it temporarily to test it out before the graphics artists could get to it... or it could be a fake. Only time will tell.

Thought I would just bump this discussion thread up that occurred last September 2007, since we finally get to see the stitch magic pin come out. I know this individual got a picture of it last year, and not many people believed it would come out and from a reliable source...

Come on dragon, ya know ya wanna say it...
