First things first today. I head over to get coffee and decide it is time to move. The CM had no problem with this, I just asked for a parking lot side room. The pool view side echoes like crazy and becomes very noisy. We packed our stuff and the Mousekeepers moved it for us.
Devon slept late again. I can't. It's Disney!! We are leaving the "World" today to go shopping up at Belz. Another tradition. My limit today was not more than 50$ per store. There are two Character Warehouses up there and last time I spent too much. Not hard to do with Disney stuff! Lucky for me they didn't have too much selection this time. The first store I dropped 57$. Oh no, that's beyond my limit!! The other store only 35$. Yes, made my limit and got stuff for girls that they will love. Everyone's happy.
Went on to Festival Bay and was dissapointed in the Hilo Hattie pearl shop here. I thought it would be cheap comparison to Disney, but not so. Also cruised through Ron Jon Surf shop. Talk about overpriced stuff! This place was also like a ghost town. I don't know how the shops here stay open!?
I had wanted to try Sweet Tomatoes so we found this restaraunt near by. It was 17$ for the two of us and although the food was very good, I probably won't be back. It was extremely busy and my son isn't exactly into salads. I also didn't like the set up of having to wait with your salad wilting to pay. I was expecting a relaxing meal and I thought it was too chaotic too enjoy! Sorry, I know there are Sweet Tomoto fans out there. Left full though.
Drove back to DTD. I had surprised Devon with Disney Quest tickets and he wanted to spend the rest of the day here. After a few hours we shopped. Got those Mickey hands for Mickey and a tie pin for husband Dave. Back to DQ for a few hours and then back to Pop.
We needed to get a good nights sleep so we could get up early for MK. I chatted with family on phone while Devon took a short swim.
Finally no "screaming happily by the pool" noises and a good nights sleep!
