Stinky Cold

Stinky Cold
Only a day now and I have developed a stinker of a cold!!!
So...help!!
Any ideas how to make it go away (I wish!) or just deal better with the symptoms (sore throat, congested etc) on the trip?
I will NOT let it spoil my holiday!

My friend is off to Florida tomorrow and also has an awful cold and her husband is starting the aches and pains of flu, must be something to do with the excitement of holidays!

Seriously, dose yourself up, keep warm and you'll soon be better, once you step off that plane you'll forget all about your cold.

Poor you.
It seems to be flying round with a vengence.
I agree keep warm, maybe put a little Olbas oil or vicks vapour rub in a bowl of warm water towel over your head and sniff it in a few times, that will help with blocked nose/congestion!, We've had ours now for 2weeks our 4year old had it then i had it now dp is in bed with it! hope your feeling loads better for your holiday im sure the days will help

.......... whisky! My cure-all for anything cold -like or flu-ey... doesn't actually help in a medical sense, but it definitely makes the symptoms more friendly!! (I like it neat, but try' whisky-all-in' with hot water, lemon slices and a spoon of honey!)

Oh no Fiona - what a pain. I'd take some decongestant timed to take maximum effect on the flight and ear-planes. Drink loads of water too.
