Cat ~ What time is it now? I can't remember how many time zones we have apart.

Angel ~ I hate that too. I totally know what you mean, I don't cry over my hair either and it will totally grow back, but why is it so hard to get a cut like you describe?

My hair is a lot thicker on top than on the sides of my head. I guess maybe because I sleep on my sides? Anyway, I always tell them that if they pull all the hair out between their fingers and cut on an angle like they do to make layers (hard to say without showing what I'm saying!!!!!) then the shortest layer will be too thick looking. I tell them this and tell them this and still, I have the shortest layer too thick looking. I have never cut hair in my life and I have figured this out. Why can't my stylists? They would have to make layers a different way on my head. Maybe their isn't any other way to make layers but what they are doing isn't working!

Cat, can you visit about every 6 weeks? Have scissors will travel?

I understand what youre saying. And yeah - it probably is from side sleeping (over the years, kwim?) my left side is way thinner than my right - and I sleep in the left.

I should start parting it opposite though.... Im parting it on my thin side. What am I doing? You made my light bulb go off.

Hello?!?! I'm married to Mr. Fix-It! j/k DH works for a commercial HVAC place so we got a "high efficiency unit" a couple of years ago. We had to get all new duct work, blah, blah, blah. DH actually had some guy come in and do most of the work so he knows somebody. So, if you need a non-looney, you let me know. His name is Terry. Don't know his last name. I do need a plumber though. DH refuses to call one and I'm getting mad. The bathtub does not work. He thinks it is no big deal. However, DD would like to play in the bathtub. I caught her sitting in the shower playing with no water. AND, the thing you pull up for the shower is getting really hard to pull up. I think it is a matter of time before it is broken and then we will have no shower. Then, I'll have to call in sick to work. So, know any plumbers? DH messed with it already and shocking, can't fix it.

Hair - Nope, I don't have anybody anymore. I ditched the lady that used to color my hair when I was going through that whole growing out my color phase. I don't know if I want you to cut it though. Here's why........ What if I didn't like it? Then, I'd have to leave the Stink Eye thread and I know you all would not want that to happen, right? hehehehe I'm sure I wouldn't hate it, but what if? Then, no more stink eye! Or, what if you were so mortified of my gray hairs popping up and you no longer wanted me to be a stink eye chickie. hehehehe KWIM?

Actually, I'll settle for prayers and pixie dust. DH and I are probably going to leave the mortgage industry. <heavy sigh> Unless things pick up in the next two weeks, I think we're officially done with it.

It's so frustrating to really love what you do and have the gov't destroy the entire industry. They should have let the market correct itself, but instead stuck their noses in an passed legislation that completely turned everything upside down.

Hmmm, a story. Let me think........ Actually, I was just discussing this one with a co-worker. Not sure why, but I was. I don't think I told you this one before. So, back in my hayday or heyday? I used to live in Lincoln Park (Chicago). I'm talking right out of college so still in the party mode. We used to hit all the street fests on the weekends. Well, our favorite band always played on Sundays so Sundays turned into rough days & nights. One Sunday, the street fest was actually on our street so we had a huge party. The band then played at a bar that night so we went to see them. Needless to say, I went to sleep at like 3:00am. Well, this is when I worked 6am - 2pm everday. I had to be there at 6am everyday, couldn't be late. We had a turnover meeting I had to attend. So, I think I was still a little buzzed that morning. My friends and I would always email saying I'm on my 10th bottle of water and how hungover we were, blah, blah, blah. The place I worked was a shop environment so I had on jean overalls, work boots, you get the picture. Well, I forgot to put a bra on that morning! Needless to say, I wore a sweatshirt the rest of day, zipped up!

Ok, reading that back, not so funny. Had to be there.............
