Hi girls. Guess what? We are having two families over tonight. The guys are going to hockey and the ladies and kids are hanging out like I reported yesterday. One of the wives just informed me that they have decided to spend the night at our house. OMG!

Seriously! Does no one feel my pain? A slumber party? Are you serious? I wish I could repeat what my husband said when I told him this!

I'm pretty much 1/2 Italian, 1/2 German. I have a smidge of Dutch & French in there too.

So, I was about to break open the Guitar Hero for the first time b/c Abby has been bugging me the past few days and I can't get the disk to work at all. It better be something I'm doing wrong b/c I ordered it online. So, Abby is playing Hannah Montana now. UGH!

We went to Pump It Up today. I met a friend of mine and her two little boys. It was pretty crowded b/c the kids are all on winter break. Abby had a blast though since she is one of the "big" kids now.

Then we had a conversation about her dog coming too (black lab, help me!) OMG! I was able to get that one worked out, because of two dogs and a cat at my house that wouldn't like the black lab! But I still have an overnight family! OMG! I was so looking forward to my lazy morning tomorrow.

I can't believe all the green eyes. I don't have any friends with green eyes that I can think of. Actually, mine are hazel green, so not true green, but they can be very green depending on what I'm wearing.

No - absolutely not. No one invites themselves over to my house. Only SUN and I can do that to people's yacht's.

Hi everyone! We are getting ready to go to MIL's now, (that's why I decided to check out the DIS board first. )

Xena, that stinks! People inviting themselves over is really annoying. You're stuck because if you say no, you look like the bad guy. If you say ok - you have to play hostess to unwelcome guests. It's certainly a lose-lose situation.

I agree with Cat too, you need to tell them you are meeting someone for breakfast or something to get rid of them early.

Ward ~ I hope your baby is ok! As you know I work for a dentist, but I always skip those threads asking for advice because I hate the way people talk about dentists! I work for an amazing dentist who is kind and wants people to have great teeth. It also happens to be his way of life, but that doesn't mean he is trying to scam people into doing things they don't need. It just seems that people always say stuff like that on these kind of threads so I totally avoid them. (Also I am NOT a dentist, so I would never try to give any advice to anyone other than to see their dentist!)

Anyway - vent over - I hope you did get him in to be looked at and get some advice today. I'm sure his adult teeth will be fine and that is the important thing.

WARD - I saw your thread. I dont think Id worry too much about Baby Teeth. Did the dentist see them today?

Poor little Ward.

My cousin was helping his Mom bake (he's like 15 now, so this was years ago) and he kinda slipped off the stool and his upper jaw landed smack dab into the counter and actually pushed his baby teeth up further into his gums.

His adult teeth ended up totally fine, so I would hope the same is true for you guys.

What color are Angels eyes? I have a major name change to the thread, I need to make once we find this out.
