Hi everyone! I know I haven't posted here a lot, but I've been so busy getting back to my normal routine, and when I have been on the DIS I've been working on my trip report and my dining reviews. But I just wanted to check in and say hi.

I've had a cold the past couple of days. Seems the cold PA weather, which actually isn't that cold, but compared to FL it is. And I didn't have a jacket with me when I came home, and spent an hour outside waiting for transportation in 50 degree weather, caused my cold.

Cold's dont really come from cold,though.... germies cause colds. Being in the cold can exacerbate your cold, though. You probably got sick from the plane air or something. I always get a yucky throat after flying.... sometimes it turns into a cold, sometimes it doesnt. (Can you tell Im a hypochondriac and know all this??? )

I have a zillion thing to do today - so if I dont see any of you guys, have a great day!

Probably. I know my ears hurt for awhile too afterwards. They popped on the plane, and didn't really unpop until a couple of days ago. I had "stuffed up" ears for a week.

Happy Monday! It is happy for me b/c I took a vacation day today!

Today is Abby's 6th b-day! I'm putting up Halloween decorations this morning and then her b-day party is at Pump It Up later on. DH and I supervisoring 15 kids!

I'm still a little . I went to the doc on Thursday and the antibiotic he gave me, I don't like. It leaves a metallic taste in your mouth, gross! So, I've been eating our candy from MNSSHP to get rid of that taste.

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well.

I can't believe it. This was the first day since I've come home, that I really didn't have to do anything, and I just spent the whole afternoon editing my Photo Pass pictures. I didn't even realize how late it was getting. Now I'm adding all my trip pictures, (from my camera, not Photo Pass,) to my iPod.

And yes Sun, you're going to have to explain what Pump it Up is.

I turned in my notice and today was supposed to be the beginning of the last two weeks of working there. DH decided he had had enough of his current job that he HATES and I can't say I blame him so we have decided to cut our losses and get the heck out of dodge. But, anyway the budget is so tight at work that they asked me if I wouldn't mind just not working my last two weeks so now I am trying desperately to get our house all packed up without actually lifting anything because I still don't want to hurt myself after the surgery.

Sun and Carolyn I hope you're feeling better!

Pump It Up has those big jumpy things, but all indoors. It was actually a pretty good experience. They are very expensive, but worth it b/c I didn't have to do a thing! They have people supervising your arena, serving the cake, writing down who the gifts were from, etc...... You get 40 minutes in each arena (2 of them), then 40 minutes in the party room.

It was kind of nice b/c the kids can run and scream, go wild, but it is sooo big and spread out that it is not loud and annoying for the parents. We had a bowling party last year for her, never again! That little space for those kids, I had a headache within 5 minutes.

Anyway, if you google, Pump It Up, you'll see what it is.........

I think the weather will be tolerable this year - but who knows. I think it's Saturday, October 25th - downtown - 9am. You have to bring something to donate to the food pantry - but they supply all the paint. Bring brushes, paper towels, whatever youll need to 'paint' with. Then have her pick out a chunk of window and paint it. Youve probably seen it when you drive through town....

You can make a whole day of it though, cuz the "Irish Place" has a pancake breakfast for like $5 - and the movie theater has a costume contest, and passes out goodie bags - absolutely filled with stuff and then shows a kids movie - all free. And the realtor, on the street just west of town - where the vet is - gives away a free pumpkin too, for carving (big ones, too!)

Its a fun day. I wish my 'kids' were still kids. We used to make a big thing of hot chocolate (in our Disney refillable mugs!) and sit there while they painted...

I think Im too lazy to whip out my camera half the time. When I got home this year, I was like "Geez, I should'a took more pictures!"

LOL. I have a lot of food. Then I took about 1,000 pictures of the castle, (not really, but probably a couple dozen at least,) then I have a few dozen of me and the characters, plus pictures from every parade and show I saw.

I'm going to go through them and delete a bunch, and then print the really good ones, and just save the rest in the many many many Disney files I have on my computer.

I just added over 8,000 pictures to my iPod, most of them are of Disney trips. The 8,000 pictures are from five different trips though, not just this one.
