Hey all! Checking in from Disneyworld! We had to get internet access for 1 day to our football pool picks.

We are having a fabulous time! The crowds are very managable! We did AK yesterday and didn't get there until 11:00AM, but stayed til 8:00PM for EMH. We slept in b/c of MNSSHP the night before. We did Expedition Everest 4 times! DD loves that ride! We are going to Epcot today for the soft opening of the F & W festival. It does not open officially until tomorrow.

We saw Cat a few times at Disney. We watched the special fireworks from the Pyrotechnic Assoc or whatever its called from Poly Beach together, then ran into her at MK on the night of MNSSHP.

Hope everyone is doing well! Gotta go swimming now.

P.S. The weather is awesome. It was only 84 yesterday with a great breeze at AK. It was sooo nice, not a drop of rain. It has only rained twice so far since we've been here!

Lucky ducky - still there!!!! I dont think someone who is in a clique thread should be at WDW when the others are not - myself EXCluded - dont you agree?

I HATE COMING HOME! At least Im off work today....but tomorrow I go back. Blah! It was a nice 12 days... And thank you SUN for letting me know about the Pyro fireworks.

I re-booked bounced back for next year. 14 nights. My husband is like . He doesnt have to go.

Uno mas year (and probably a mini 4 day late winter...yay!)

Hey everyone! My 24 hours of internet is not up yet. DH & DD are still sleeping.

Anyway, Breezy, I did ride Soarin' for you. Even though that ride does get me a little nervous! I always get sweaty palms b/c I do not like flying.

We did the soft opening of the food and wine festival & visited every country for DD and her passport. She got picked by the candy lady and she got a shark. It was pretty cool! DD wanted to eat it, but I will not let her.

Xena - I swear it was in A mode the first time, then B the rest of the time. Hope Vegas was good. I have not read the thread yet to hear about your trip!

Oooh, Stitch is calling us to wake us up right now! DD just said, "OK, I know who that was. It was Stitch again calling to wake us up. He keeps waking us up everyday!"

Well, we are off to Hollywood Studios today. DD loves Tower of Terror. We have not done Toy Story Mania or RNRRC yet so we are headed there for opening and to those 2 rides first. I think DD is just tall enough for RNRRC. I've never been on it either.

MK tomorrow and probably AK again on our last day.

No more internet for me while I'm here so I will talk to you all next week sometime!

P.S. Cat - thanks for reminding me, I need to book bounceback before we check out!

Ward - It is called the "Yeti" ride. I say EE and DD has no idea what I'm talking about. I'm so mean, I was telling her the Yeti was real and comes out at night. We were riding it when it was dark outside. She looked like she was about to cry. So, I told her I was only kidding & all is good......

Toy Story mania was fantastic! It was so fun. My husband turned to me at the end and goes "What were these for?" (holding up the glasses) You doofus! He played with no glasses. He 'wondered why it was so blurry" He beat me the rest of the times we rode it cuz he used the glasses. I should have just played dumb "I have no idea what those glasses are for....you got me!"

We ate at The Castle. *blech* Ummm... Rose & Crown, Garden Grill, Trails End, The Hoop, Hollywood & Vine, Liberty Tree, Sci Fi, Brown Derby, Kona.... honestly nothing was WOW! Yum! But we dont really expect that anymore. Its a shame, and I hate to sound like so many of the naysayers, but I have to agree - dining used to be really special before the Dining Plan.

They changed the School Bread in Norway to a caramel & coconut topped, custard stuffed thing. The caramel really made it pop! That was good. I cant complain about any of the drinks around the world. Those were all great.

12 days was nice and long. It was wonderful being really lazy. When you have that long, you dont have to rush. No waking up early.... very nice. We did 2 Halloween parties, too. The 16th was practically empty - the 23rd you could totally see an increase in people. In fact, just from the beginning of the trip (13th) to the end (24th) slowly but surely got more crowded. Heck, our first night was a Saturday and we had dinner at the MK.... we got spots for Spectro just minutes before the start with no problem. Very nice and empty....

My most favorite part of the trips are always the waterparks. I looooove the waterparks. Love 'em!!!! We did both BB and TL.

SUN leaves today. She's in for a shocking surprise - it's pretty chilly here. Im so jealous she's still there. But she *is* leaving today ****evil laugh****

I rebooked for next year, as did my 2 g/f's. I dont think we're doing POP again though. Im POPed out. I booked POP though.

Ummmm - who can suggest a late winter weekend thats good? January 28th-ish isnt going to work. Apparently the Superbowl is Feb 1st in Tampa. That is gonna mess with my normally non-existant crowds. I need a 4 day window that is minimal crowds. I left thinking I'd skip the winter thing this year. And 4 days later, that has changed.

I hate to, but I have to say I agree about the food and the dining plan. I mean its not terrible or anything but there is definitely a noticeable difference in quality now.

Hello everyone. This thread seems to have kind of died off. I know I haven't posted in like a month, but I really needed a break, and I feel like I could still go a little longer, but I did want to check in, and I'm now going to be doing my dining reviews on the restaurant board.

I had a great trip, the crowds were low, but seemed to get heavier as the trip went on. I won two dream Fast Passes, one I got on my first day in the park, which put me in an even more magical mood then I already was in, and the second I won about halfway through my trip.

I was at rope drop every morning except one day when I had a 8:50 breakfast, so couldn't make rope drop, and I was pretty much in the parks from rope drop until closing every day.

I also had some really great meals, especially at the signature restaurants, though there were also some meals that didn't really wow me, but nothing was bad.

I'll be writing a trip report too, probably anyway. I did write a pre-trip report, but am not sure wether or not I'm going to do a trip report for various reasons, but I probably will, at least a short one. I am definatly doing my dining reviews though, and have already started that.

I'll check back in later.
