Breezy - M & M's are sooo good. Especially with popcorn! Ever eat them with popcorn - oh soooo good!

Blah! I just had a bad lunch. Tried something new and shouldn't have. Don't you just hate when you do that!

So, what's everyone up to?

I'm eating skittles now. Someone had to bring in a big bag of skittles and starbursts to work. Good thing I just went to the dentist last week!

Xena - DH found the purple paint. Now, he said he has to test it out b/c the purple and gold are different types of paints so he has to make sure the purple sticks on top of the gold OK. He probably won't do this for awhile though b/c he has officially taken apart our fireplace / wall. We had some wood up there and he is taking it down and putting up drywall and tile around the fireplace to hang the TV. So, that is going to be a bit of a project.

I'm bored...............

OK. Sounds good. Now hurry, lots of time before father's day!

Let's talk Vegas.

DH is probably going to kill me when I tell him I booked a trip. We were watching some Vegas shows on the travel channel over the weekend and I said, "Oooh, I'm getting the itch. Wanna go to Vegas?"

He looked at me, practically rolled his eyes, and said, "No!"

Boy is he going to be surprised!

So, any hidden secrets or hints for Vegas??? I'm going to have to try to make this a budget trip since he probably would have said no way if I actually asked him if he wanted to go before booking.

I will try to think of some good stuff. We just gamble a lot, so I don't have much. I guess my only new tip was last time we got a monorail pass and we were glad we did because it was a great way to hop around the strip. I'll see if I can think of something else.

BTW I had a brown bathroom in my house when we moved in, but I've tried to make it cute. When we bought the house it was brown plaid wallpaper, brown tub, tile, sink AND toilet! I took down the wallpaper and painted it and I'm trying to do the palm tree theme. It looks okay now, but brown bathrooms are hard! We also had a black one!

I really like Tour. of Kings, Madame Toussands wax, gondola ride was fun, touring the hotels was fun.

thanks, I hope it gets better. But we are on a trial separation for now. He needs to work some things out and well we will see.

The walls were choc. brown. but the rest of the bathroom was normal.

Talk to me about this monorail pass. We are staying at the very South end of the strip so maybe we want this. Where does it run, how much, where do I get it???? blah, blah, blah........ We usually gamble a lot too, but I kind of want to make this a more of see things trip since it is just the two of us. We have always gone with friends and just gambled.

Well got all caught up in all the political stuff. Then DH and I moved back to NC. We're living with my parents right now and we go out looking at houses a lot trying to decide what we want for ourselves once DH gets a job. So I'm in and out.

I love Fresca as a side note but I just love the regular original flavor.

Tournament of Kings is a lot of fun. Its at the Excalibur. Its a dinner show.
You get tomato soup, then cornish game hen, potato wedges, broccoli & roll. Dessert is a peach turnover thing.
Wax is at the Venetian. Its fun.
Mirage has the Secret Garden its I think $15 to get in.

Cat gets stink-eye for going to Disney again so soon. I need a vacation, (even though I also just got back,) but there's been some problems in my family in the last week or so, and I really need to get away.

I like the sounds of that pay for four nights - get three nights free deal. I wonder if that could include the dining plan? If so, that's not a bad deal, and I could go for my birthday week, and get the extra $200 gift card as well as $75 for my birthday. That could be awesome. I probably won't though. I need to stop going every year, so I wish Disney would stop bribing me to go!

Ok I want to hear ALL of these stories! You might have to space them out though so we don't get too overwhelmed with the hilarity that always comes in your stories! LOL! I still will never forget about the Lezzie lady at the bar story!

Living with the parents is ok for now. i hope it doesn't go on too long just because its such a small house, we're all right on top of each other, but so far so good. As far as the job hunt, he has a couple of companies he is supposed to hear back from this week so hopefully one of them will come through for us!

Wow! A surprise trip to Vegas! i've never been but DH has and he wants to go back so maybe someday I will get to go there!
