Does anyone know if the StingRay adventure on Castaway has lockers or a storage spot for bags, coverups, towels etc. while you are out in the water?

I did some online looking. This is the first thing I found - and think it is a reasonable answer to your concerns.

This video (4 years old) of the Stingray Adventure shows the lean-to/ covered area for orientation. Looking at the area used for the interaction, you should be able to keep your bag with you and store it within the fenced area. I didn’t see any hooks or lockers in the lean-to; after the orientation. As of 2022, there were no lockers for general use on the island.

I imagine some participants just leave their stuff in a lounger in the beach/ swimming area. Like they do when they go to lunch or go in the water. - that is even the advice on PlanDisney website.

Just did this in July. As previous poster said, you can leave your belongings under the covered area but nothing is locked up. I would skip this as there are better interactions with stingrays on many of the islands and even Discovery Cove in Orlando was way better. This was disappointing for us!

My daughter did this in August and really liked it. Like the previous posters said, there are benches you can leave stuff on, but there are no secure storage areas. If you can book it, try to get the first available stingray adventure. The stingrays really interacted with the guests when my daughter was there, as they had not been fed since the previous day. However, by the end of their feeding period, the stingrays were less interested in coming up to get the food so I can imagine that for the later adventures there may not have been as much interaction as there was for the first feeding of the day. In addition, make sure you take the time to snorkel out into the stingray lagoon. My daughter reported seeing some of the really big stingrays out by the far side of the lagoon and spent the rest of her hour after the feeding swimming around out there.

We've tried to do this adventure twice now, and it's been canceled both times due to high seas. Maybe third times the charm?

No lockers just a storage area. I had a waterproof pouch for my phone but ultimately opted to risk it and left it with our bag and towels. It was windy and they couldn't set up the feeding station but we could still swim with them. Not that they don't give you fins, they give you snorkels, masks, and inflatable vests, which is kind of awkward and slow if you're used to snorkeling with fins. I guess they do that in case guests can't really swim. I found myself wishing I had brought my own fins.
