still waiting with an ADR?

if you have an ADR, do you normally have to wait long to be seated? Also, how soon do you typically get served? Will we have a 20 minute wait after we order, or is it faster because of the volume Disney handles? I was told to be at CRT half hour before our ressie. Should we do that for all ADRs?

We did all buffets and the longest we wait for was 20 minutes past our ADR at Cape May. Everything else we were sat almost right away. We did Cape May, Tusker House, 1900 Park Fare, Boma, and Norway. It took us about 20 minutes to get dinner in Norway but we had the appetizer buffet to hold us over.

really depends on the restaurant. I can say we are always kept waiting for a long time at 1900 Park Fare for dinner and O'hannas for breakfast. At least 20 minutes after our ADR. Once we are seated, 1900 park fare is a buffet so you eat immediately and O'hannas is family style so it is a matter of minutes before they bring you the tray.

However, Crystal Palace we never wait even if we are a little early for the ADR.

I think it really just depends, I would however show up a little early because if you show up at the same time as all the other 12pm reservations it will take longer to be seated.

As others have said, it really depends on the restaurant and the time. We have sometimes had to wait a really long time (30+ minutes) or were seated immediately. It's really hard to tell. Overall, we try to get to the restaurant about 15 minutes early, as recommended.

At CRT, I would get there early because you have to check-in and get your picture taken with Cinderella and then still wait some more to be called up to the dining room.

As for the lag between ordering and getting served, it isn't anything abnormally long or slow. I would guess between 10 and 15 minutes, depending on how busy the place is and what you ordered.
